Jorge Luis Prats
He left fourteen pianos behind in Cuba when he emigrated to Spain. At forty-five, finally freed from Castro’s travel restrictions, his star began to rise in Europe and the United States. It was a sensation, that first time in Amsterdam in 2016: Jorge Luis Prats performed Albéniz's complete Iberia.
