Get to know the Teuten - A historical cycling experience
Bike experience route The Teuten Tour
If you want to get to know the Teuten, you have to experience the Teuten Tour. For €20, you can buy a route and a bag at the participating hospitality venues: Café De Vègtes and HTC Bistro in Hamont, De Brasser in Budel, and Borrelbar KikkerOp in Maarheeze, as well as at V.V.V. Hamont-Achel and VVV Cranendonck. You will then receive a fun "croesus" (money pouch) and four wooden Teuten coins worth €6 each. With these, you can start from any of the four hospitality points and redeem a Teuten coin at each point. After that, you can follow the fascinating 40 km cross-border cycling experience route, during which Dirck de Ketelaer, a Teut from the late 1800s, tells stories about the area, his colleagues, his family, and even gives a glimpse into the future. The tour takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete.

Black Kaat bicycle route
Do you know the story of De Zwarte Kaat, the witch of the Hellenende? For generations, it has been said that she terrorized the Kempen, but now she hides in the beautiful nature around Eindhoven. Discover her history through this exciting 36-kilometer cycling route, which you follow via the Brabant junction system. If you look closely, you will find traces of her past and come face to face with her wealth, prosperity, happiness, and bliss.
