Back in time at Heeze Castle
Heeze Castle is one of the last inhabited castles in the Netherlands. The castle consists of the medieval castle Eymerick and a newer 17th-century castle. Both have their own courtyards. Part of the castle can be visited as the van Tuyll family still lives in part of this impressive building. Admire the richly decorated 18th-century bathroom and wander past 17th-century tapestries. Saanenhof goat farm
A very special regional product is made at Geitenboerderij Saanenhof. When visiting Heeze-Leende, you should definitely taste the organic Heezer Geitenenkaas! Geitenboerderij Saanenhof is a real family business and is located near the Strabrechtse Heide and walking area e Herbertusbossen. The goats have a nice life as they are allowed to roam around Castle Heeze and the surrounding meadows. The farm shop is open from Wednesday to Saturday.
