Museum Wings of Liberation takes you back to the past

Museum Bevrijdende Vleugels in Best is a poignant reminder of the liberation of the southern Netherlands at the end of World War II, with a special focus on Operation Market Garden. Located on the historic site where the air landings took place in 1944, the museum offers an in-depth look at the occupation, suppression and eventual liberation. The impressive collection includes tanks, aircraft, dioramas, photographs and authentic weaponry used during the operation. Besides exploring the exhibitions, you can also take part in Flight Simulation days on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, where you can get behind the baton of an aircraft yourself.
